Men's Track And Field Finishes Fourth At Wheaton Invitational|

Wheaton, Ill. - University of Illinois at Chicago sophomore sprinter Trent Thompson picked up a pair of first-place finishes in both the 200-meter dash (22.33) and 400-meter dash (48.82) to help the Flames to a fourth-place finish at the Wheaton Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
The Flames also received a first-place finish from their 4x100 relay team (42.27) and junior Marcus Lesley (110-meter hurdles, 14.83). Lesley also earned a second-place mark in the 100-meter dash (10.91), narrowly edging teammate Brandon Cook (11.04).
UW-Whitewater won the overall title with 183.5 points, followed by Wheaton College (137.5), Carthage (137.5), UIC (88), University of Chicago (68), Olivet Nazarene (52), College of DuPage (41.5) and Harper (26).
Freshman Terrell Williams rounded out the top-three finishers for the Flames, with a third-place mark in the pole vault (4.27 meters).
UIC will be back in action on Saturday afternoon, as they will travel to Rensselaer, Ind., to participate in the St. Joseph's Invitational at 10:00 a.m.
