South Bend, Ind. - Seniors Joe Marren and Rich Daubert each turned in a pair of top-eight finishes in the mile run at the Alex Wilson Invitational, hosted by Notre Dame, on Saturday afternoon.

Marren placed sixth with a season-best time of 4:16.48, while Daubert was eighth overall with a mark of 4:19.16.

Sophomore Whitney Burns placed seventh overall in the 800-meter run, crossing the finish line in 1:55.82, while senior Jon White placed eighth overall in the triple jump with a leap of 44'2 ¾".

UIC will be back in action on Saturday, March 29th, as they will begin the outdoor campaign at the Wheaton Invitational at 10:00 a.m.
