South Bend, Ind. - University of Illinois at Chicago's Trent Thompson ended the indoor track and field campaign in style, as the sophomore sprinter picked up two personal-records in both the 200-meter and 400-meter dash at the season-ending, highly prestigious Alex Wilson Invitational, hosted by Notre Dame, over the weekend.

Thompson crossed the finish line of the 200-meter dash in 22.35, and followed that up with a mark of 49.83 in the 400-meter dash.

Junior transfer Brandon Cook (22.36) and freshman Tyler Meeks both turned in season-best marks in the 200-meter dash as well.

UIC will take a few weeks off before they open up the outdoor campaign, in West Lafayette, Ind., on Mar. 26th, as they will participate in the Purdue Open at 10:00 a.m.
