    South Bend, Ind. - University of Illinois at Chicago senior jumper Bob Thurnhoffer placed eighth overall with a leap of 13.73 meters in the triple jump at the Alex Wilson Indoor Track and Field Invitational, hosted by Notre Dame, on Saturday afternoon.

    UIC will be back in action on Friday, March 26th, as they will open the outdoor track and field season at the North Carolina State Relays.
