Romeoville, Ill.- The men's indoor track and field team recorded 11 points to finish 12th out of 14 teams at the Chicagoland Championships at Lewis University on Saturday.

Senior Neto Alexander (Port-of-Spain, Trinidad/Queen's Royal College) turned in a season-best, third-place finish of 6.41 in the 55-meter dash. The Flames also received solid performances from junior John Georgacopoulos (Riverwoods, Ill./Deerfield) and sophomores Rich Daubert (Arlington Heights, Ill./Hersey) and Jon White (Chicago, Ill./St. Rita).

Georgacopoulos placed fifth in the 200-meter intermediate hurdles with a time of 26.42 while Daubert (800-meter run, 1:58.89) and White (triple jump, 42"11 ¾') each earned sixth-place finishes.

The Flames will be back in action next weekend as they will travel to Ann Arbor, Michigan to participate in the Midwestern Collegiate Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships.
