    Ames, Iowa - Senior distance runners Rich Daubert and Joe Marren each turned in season-best times in the mile run at the Iowa State Classic on Saturday afternoon.

    Daubert placed 38th overall with a mark of 4:18.81, while Marren followed in 44th-place, crossing the finish line in 4:21.45.

    UIC will be back in action on Saturday afternoon, as they will head north to participate in the UW-Milwaukee quadrangular at 11:00 a.m.
