Romeoville, Ill. - There was no team scoring during the Lewis University Friday Night Series Indoor Track and Field meet, but both the men and women's track teams turned in some solid performances.

The men received a third-place finish John Georgacopoulos (Deerfield, Ill./Riverwoods H.S.) in the 200-meter intermediate hurdles. Georgacopoulos also placed eighth in the 55-meter high hurdles (8.65).

The 800-meter run was a solid event for freshmen Jeremy Bentley (Springfield, Ill./Lanphier H.S.) and Tristan Roche (Evanston, Ill./Evanston H.S.) as both recorded personal bests. Bentley placed fourth with a time of 2:02.90 followed by Roche (2:03.34).

The women received a pair of third-place finishes from senior Kelly Colangelo (Orland Park, Ill./Reavis H.S.) and freshman Kim Brown (Monee, Ill./Crete-Monee H.S). Colangelo's shot-put of 34-feet, 8 ¼ inches was third overall while Brown recorded a personal-best time of 1:46.26 in the 600-meter run.

The Flames will return to Lewis University next weekend as they will participate in the Chicagoland Championships.
