CHICAGO - The UIC men's and women's indoor track & field teams wrapped up competition in the historic Meyo Invitational Saturday, coming away with three school records, and nine top-10 finishes between the individual events and relays.

"I was very pleased with our performances this weekend," said head coach Jim Knoedel. "The women's distance medley relay team convincingly set the school record off the tremendous legs of Jaime (Johnson), Ariel (Kirby), Rebecca (Zaiter) and Tess (Ehrhardt). I was also pleased with Kellie (Schuh), as she turned in another top-notch effort in the pole vault, setting the school record. I was also very excited about our success in the 800-meter run."

"On the men's side, Michael Stupka demonstrated that he will be a huge factor at the Horizon League meet, with a 49.28 in the 400-meter. Matt Zaluckyj also came up with some big races."

On Friday, the women's distance medley relay team comprised of Jaime Johnson, Ariel Kirby, Rebecca Zaiter and Tess Ehrhardt set the school record, crossing the finishing line in 12:04.81.

In the women's pole vault, Kellie Schuh turned in another strong performance, leaping 3.86 meters to top the existing school record. Ehrhardt capped off a stellar all-around meet by capturing the school record in the 1-Mile Run (5:08.59).

Notably, Kirby and Zaiter finished with respective times of 2:14.96 and 2:15.62 in the 800-meter run. Additionally, Alexandria Warner finished 12th in the weight throw (16.77 meters).
