    Normal, Ill. - University of Illinois at Chicago junior sprinter Marcus Lesley took home the 60-meter hurdle title, crossing the finish line in 8.22, to lead the men's track and field squad at the Redbird Invitational, hosted by Illinois State, at the Horton Fieldhouse on Saturday afternoon.

    The Flames also received runner-up finishes from sophomores Trent Thompson (400-meter dash, 51.32) and Sam Watson (9:06.15, 3,000-meter run); and freshmen Terell Williams (pole vault, 4.15m) and Joshua McNabb (triple jump, 12.34m).

    Third-place finishes for UIC, include: Brandon Cook (60-meter dash, 7.03; 200-meter dash, 22.88) and Mike Savegnago (pole vault, 4.15m).

    UIC will be back in action on Saturday morning, as they will travel to Kenosha, Wis., to participate in the Carthage Invitational at 10:00 a.m.
