    2001 Highlights: Selected as Midwestern Collegiate Conference Track Performer of the Championships following meet records in 110-meter hurdles (14.73), 400-meter hurdles (53.06) and running the anchor leg of the winning 4x400 relay (3:19.07)…earned the 400-meter hurdles title at the Lee Calhoun Memorial Meet with a time of 53.29…captured first-place honors in 110-meter hurdles at UIC Invitational (14.97).

    2000 Highlights: Placed third in 110-meter hurdles (16.06) at the Midwest Collegiate Conference Outdoor Track championships and fifth in 55-meter hurdles (8.45) at the MCC Indoor meet.

    Prep/Personal: Played football at University of Illinois at Champaign before transferring…named to Upstate Eight honorable mention football team in 1996…selected to the academic all-conference team in 1995…garnered Fighting Saint of the Year honors in 1995…former school and conference record-holder in 300-meter hurdles…finished ninth at 1996 state finals in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 39.0…born July 30, 1978…son of Barry, Barbara and Joycelyn Somerville…majoring in electrical engineering.
