AS A FRESHMAN (2008): Opened his UIC career with a sixth-place finish at the DePaul Opener, covering the 4-mile course in 21:14...was the Flames' top finisher at the Bradley Classic Oct. 17, placing sixth with a time of 25:28...took 16th at the Horizon League Cross Country Championships with a time of 25:59.31...was UIC's top finisher at the NCAA Midwest Regional, crossing the line in 71st place with a time of 33:00.50...his NCAA Regional time was also a career best in the 10,000-meter run...had the Flames' top times for the season in both the 8,000 and 10,000-meter races...had the second-best on the team marks in both the indoor 3,000 and 5,000-meter runs, and the outdoor 5,000 and 10,000-meter races
