2006 Highlights: UIC's top performer in the 100- and 200-meter dash while also running on the Horizon League champion 4x100 relay team...took second in the 100-meter dash at the Horizon League Championships with a season-low time of 10.83...placed third in the 200-meter dash at the league championships in 22.09...competed in the 4x100 relay at the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships...captured five top finishes during the indoor season while setting personal best times in the 55-, 60- and 200-meter dashes...named Horizon League Indoor Track Athlete of the Week on Jan. 10th after wins in both the 55- and 200-meter races at the Chicago Opener...posted a UIC-best time of 21.96 en route to a third-place finish in the 200-meter race at the Horizon League Indoor Championships...also place fourth at the league championships in the 60-meter dash (7.05)...set his career-best time in the 60-meter at the UWM Tune-Up Meet, crossing in 6.99...enjoyed a standout performance at the Lewis Invite on Feb. 11th, winning both the 55-meter (6.52) and 200-meter (22.44) races.

2005 Highlights: Placed second overall in the 200-meter dash at the Horizon League Indoor Championships with a mark of 22.54...picked up a runner-up finish in the 200-meter dash (22.81) at the University of Chicago Open...turned in a pair of top-five finishes at the Purdue Invitational in the 200-meter dash (3rd, 22.99) and 60-meter dash (5th, 7.11)...captured a pair of third-place marks in the 60-meter dash (7.03) and 200-meter dash (22.88) at the Redbird Invitational...finished second overall in the 200-meter dash (22.65) at the Tadd Metzger Invitational...placed second in the 200-meter dash at the UW-Milwaukee Tune-Up, crossing the finish line in 22.54...garnered a personal-best time of 22.36 in the 200-meter dash at the Alex Wilson Invitational...owns UIC's second-fastest, indoor times in the 55-meter dash (6.58), 60-meter dash (7.03) and 200-meter dash (22.36)...his time of 6.58 in the 55-meter dash was the second-fastest, indoor time in the Horizon League...his mark of 7.03 in the 60-meter dash was the third-fastest, indoor time in the Horizon League...his time of 22.36 in the 200-meter dash was the fourth-fastest, indoor mark in the Horizon League...ran a leg of the Horizon League record-setting, 4x100 relay (41.5), while taking home runner-up finishes in both the 100-meter dash (11.1) and 200-meter dash (21.88)...finished second overall in the 100-meter dash (10.92) at the North Central College Invitational...raced to a third-place finish in the 100-meter dash (11.04) at the Wheaton Invitational...won the 200-meter dash (21.71) and placed second in the 100-meter dash (10.74) at the Chicagoland Championships...his time of 10.74 in the 100-meter dash, was a team-season, best and Horizon League best...took home a pair of second-place finishes in both the 100-meter dash (11.03) and the 200-meter dash (21.55) at the Jerry England Invitational...his mark of 21.55 in the 200-meter dash was a team-season, and Horizon League best.

Prior to UIC: Captured the 100 and 200-meter dash titles at the Horizon League Outdoor Championships as a sophomore...named the Horizon League Athlete of the Week for the period ending April 12, 2003...was a member of the 2003 Horizon League outdoor champion 4x100-relay team...also picked up a 2nd place finish in the 200-meter dash and a third-place finish in the 100-meter dash as a freshman...set the school-indoor record in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.21.

Prep/Personal: Competed in both track and football at Decatur MacArthur...helped Generals to three consecutive conference and sectional track and field championships along with two top three finishes in the IHSA Class AA state championships...won the 100-meter dash at both the conference and sectional finals, while placing seventh overall at the IHSA Class AA state championships as a senior...won the 200-meter dash at both the conference and sectional finals as a senior...was a member of the 1st-place 4x100 relay at the conference and sectional meets that finished seventh overall at state...was a member of both the winning 4x100 and 4x200 relays at the Illinois Spotlight meet...as a junior, was the conference indoor champ in the 200-meter dash...was a member of the conference and sectional winning 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400 relay teams...helped 4x200 relay to a fourth-place finish and the 4x400 relay to a third-place finish at the state finals...born August 30, 1984...son of Roland and Vernadene Cook...majoring in movement science.
