Kirby, Schuh, Zaluckyj Post Strong Performances at Last Chance Meets

Ariel Kirby and Matt Zaluckyj both finished third in the 800-meter at the Second to Last Chance Meet in Allendale, Mich., while Kellie Schuh posted a season-best mark in the pole vault at the Last Chance Meet in Naperville Friday.

Kirby, Kehoe Tally Individual Titles on Final Day of HL Outdoors

Junior Ariel Kirby captured the 800-meter individual title, and senior Sam Kehoe collected medalist honors in the 5,000-meter run, highlighting the Flames' performance during the final day of the Horizon League Outdoor Track & Field Championships Sunday. The UIC men's team finished fourth in the field, while the women took sixth.
Track & Field Wraps up Competition in Day One of HL Outdoors

Senior Sam Kehoe finished second in the 10,000-meter run, helping the UIC men's track & field team jump out to a third-place start after day one of the Horizon League Championship Friday at the Krauss-Miller-Lutz Outdoor Athletics Complex. The women's team did not record a team point on day one, despite Jennifer Johnson recording a pair of top-three finishes in the heptathlon.
Track & Field Readies for Horizon League Outdoor Championships

The UIC men's and women's track & field teams will head to Wauwatosa, Wis., this weekend to take part in the 2012 Horizon League Outdoor Championships, at the Krauss-Miller-Lutz Outdoor Athletics Complex on the campus of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Competition gets underway Friday morning, and will run through Sunday afternoon.
Track & Field Posts 13 First-Place Finishes at Marquette Invitational

The UIC men's and women's track & field teams posted a combined 13 first-place finishes at the Marquette Invitational Saturday, in the final tune-up before next weekend's Horizon League Championship. Additionally, senior Matt Zaluckyj finished seventh, and junior Ariel Kirby set the school record in the 800-meter run at the prestigious Drake Relays.
