Robare Advances To Midwest Regional Main Draw

ANN ARBOR, Mich.- Dave Robare of the UIC men's tennis team advanced to the main draw of the 2009 Wilson/ITA Midwest Regional Championship with a hard-fought 7-6(4), 6-4 victory over Robert Fox of Horizon League rival Cleveland State early Friday. Robare's entrance into the main draw gives the Flames three main singles draw entrants, with Sebastian Lystad and Bastian Harbo also in the tourney. Robare plays Northwestern's Tobias Reitz, Lystad meets top-seeded Justin Kronauge of Ohio State and Harbo takes on Jason Jung of host Michigan.
