Chicago, Ill.- Sophomore Sebastian Lystad was named the Horizon League Men's Tennis Player of the week for the period ending October 3rd, the league office announced on Tuesday.

After the tournaments held at Bradley and Valparaiso the past two weekends, Lystad has kicked off the fall season with two A singles finals appearances as well as a A doubles championship match. Lystad is currently 5-2 in singles and 3-2 in doubles play.

UIC heads to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Midwest Regional Championships October 18-23 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
