Indianapolis, Ind. - University of Illinois at Chicago's Karl Morgan and Nick Bodmer were both named to the 2000 Men's Tennis MCC All-Conference Team it was announced earlier this afternoon.

Morgan, who has competed all season in the No. 2 singles slot, tied former Flame Mark Wagner (1982) for singles wins in a season this year with 19. He owned a 19-19 singles mark, UIC's only .500 singles record, and a 13-21 doubles mark, also UIC's best. His 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 win over Butler's Sebastian Koehler on April 8, was UIC's first singles triumph over the Bulldogs in the teams last four meetings.

Bodmer owned a 14-20 singles record and 11-17 doubles slate at the end of the regular season. He competed all season at the No. 1 singles position and sits in ninth place in the UIC record books for singles wins in a season with 14.
