Chicago, Ill.- Freshman Sebastian Lystad (Oslo, Norway/Wang Toppidrett) was named the Horizon League Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week for the period ending April 17th, the league office announced on Tuesday.

Lystad won all three of his singles contests in straight sets this week at the top spot for UIC. He picked up wins over top players from Valparaiso, Wright State and UW-Green Bay to key a perfect 3-0 week for the Flames.

The rookie improved to 16-8 overall and 9-4 in dual match play.

UIC heads to Ohio to play Youngstown State and Cleveland State this weekend.
