CHICAGO- The UIC men’s tennis team (3-5) heads to Valparaiso, Ind., to compete against the Crusaders on Saturday at the Valparaiso University Tennis Complex.  Competition is set to get underway at 2 p.m. (CT).

After a tough 4-0 loss to Northwestern on March 9, the Flames look to come back strong after a two-week break.

Alexander Raa and Isaac Lloveras lead the Flames in singles wins this season with three each.  Both won their matches against Western Illinois, Chicago and Bradley.

The duo of Raa and sophomore Nate Campanile lead the Flames with two doubles wins on the season. Their wins come against Western Illinois and Chicago.

Heading into Saturday’s competition, the Flames are 10-2 against Valparaiso since the 1999 season. This season, the Crusaders are 13-3, sweeping all six matches on their spring break trip March 8-13.
