CHICAGO- UIC senior Sebastian Lystad was named the Horizon League Men's Tennis Player of the Week for the period of Feb. 22-28, the league office announced on March 2.

Lystad was victorious in his only singles and doubles matches of the week. He posted a 4-6, 7-6(4), 10-2 triumph at No. 1 singles at Southern Illinois.

The Oslo, Norway native also teamed with Nate Kirk to register an 8-6 win at No. 2 doubles on Saturday, tying UIC's career record for doubles wins as the Flames won their sixth match in a row.

The Flames meet Wichita State on Saturday.
