CHICAGO – Coming off of an action-packed weekend, the UIC men's tennis team (2-5) returns to its indoor home courts at Hinsdale Racquet Club in Hinsdale, Ill., to face Bradley on Saturday.  Competition is scheduled to get underway at 6 p.m. (CT).

The Flames went 1-2 through competition last weekend.  They split their matches on Saturday, Feb. 2, falling 4-0 to Wisconsin and taking a 4-3 win over UW-Whitewater, before suffering a 4-2 loss to Northern Illinois on Sunday, Feb. 3.

Alexander Raa, Alan Reifer, Christopher Cole and Rahul Kamath all collected wins for UIC during the two days of competition.  Raa (No. 2) and Reifer (No. 3) went 1-2, with Cole going 1-0 at No. 4 and Kamath registering a 1-1 record through play at No. 5 and 6.

Raa and Kamath produced the best doubles total for the Flames, going 2-1 at No. 1 and 2, as six of the seven competitors in doubles took at least one win.

During last season’s meeting with the Braves, UIC claimed the doubles point but ultimately fell 5-2, as Bradley took its second-consecutive win over the Flames.  Into Saturday’s match, the Braves are 2-1 this season, with wins over Saint Louis and Kansas City, and are expected to face Marquette and South Dakota State on Sunday.
