Valparaiso, Ind. - The UIC men's tennis team knocked off Valparaiso, 6-1, on Tuesday.

For the Flames, it was their fourth victory in their last five outings.

Horizon League Player of the Week, Nick Bodmer, won his seventh-straight match by defeating Ben Dunham-Freer, 6-0, 6-3, at No.1 singles.

John Cincola earned his fifth consecutive win with a victory over Chris Widmeyer, 6-3, 6-4, at No.3 singles.

Ken Howrey, Amol Desai, Neil Ahluwalia and James Wonneberg were also winners for the Flames in singles play.

UIC took two-of-three in double action to grab that point.

The Flames now head to the Horizon League Tournament in Indianapolis this weekend as the tourney's No.3 seed where they will face off against #6 Youngstown State in the first round on Saturday, April 26 at 9:00 a.m. at North Central H.S.
