    Macomb, Ill. - The UIC men's tennis team won its second-straight match on Tuesday, defeating Western Illinois, 7-1, on the road.

    UIC took the doubles point, as John Cincola and Pat Zufan paired to win at No.2 doubles, 8-5, over Coventry and Wikgren. Nick Bodmer, the Horizon Athlete of the Week, teamed with Amol Desai to win at No.3 doubles, 8-2 over Offerdahl and Samuelson.

    In singles play, it was a near sweep, as Bodmer, Yevgen Ryeznik, Cincola, Ken Howrey, Desai and James Wonneberg came out on the winning end.

    The Flames take on Wright State on Friday and UW-Green Bay on Saturday, with both matches being played in Green Bay.
