Chicago, Ill. - The University of Illinois at Chicago men's tennis team leaped back on track on Friday evening, dominating visiting Indiana University-Purdue University at Fort Wayne, 7-0 at the UIC outdoor courts.

Following a loss at Northern Illinois on Tuesday, the Flames were able to find their groove against IPFW.

UIC grabbed the doubles point, as the No.2 team of Wade Clark and Amol Desai along with the No.3 pair of Will Karydakis and Neil Ahluwalia were both victorious.

The Flames were perfect in singles play, winning each match with ease with the exception of the No.1 match.

Nick Bodmer had to work to get by Ilyes Hassib winning, 6-7, 7-6, 10-8.

Ken Howrey, Clark, Desai, Omar Husain and Ahluwalia each picked-up singles wins for the Flames.

On Tuesday, UIC will be back in action as the Flames host Valparaiso at 3:00 PM.
