DeKalb, Ill.- The UIC men's tennis team never got on track against Northern Illinois on Tuesday, dropping a 6-1 decision at the Anderson Hall Courts.

The Flames (5-10) were led by Artsem Burmistrau, who won his second match in two days with a thrilling 7-6, 4-6, 10-8 win over J.P. Barriga at No. 1 singles.

It was downhill after that as the Huskies (14-4) took five singles contests and swept the doubles slate.

UIC returns to action at home this Friday against Horizon League rival Butler.
