Men's Tennis Finishes Spring Break At 0-4.

Colorado Springs, Colorado - The men's tennis team dropped both of their contests on Saturday at the Air Force Academy. The Flames' opening match against CU-Colorado Springs was shortened due to inclement weather and lack of court space with the Mountain Lions prevailing 5-0. UIC (4-7) followed that performance with a 6-1 loss to Eastern Washington later that night. Jon Schmidt (Hanover Park, Ill./Bartlett)opened with a 6-1, 7-6 victory over EWU's Ryan Moran at No. 1 singles. The Eagles, however, swept the rest of the singles' competition en route to the victory. The Flames also received a victory from Wade Clark (Farmington, Mich./Farmington) and Angel Ochoa (Orange, Calif./Orange)at No. 3 doubles. The tandem handed EWU's duo of Toyo Sadamatsu and Theron Tate an 8-5 loss.
