Homewood, Ill. - Northern Iowa snapped UIC's three-match winning streak on Saturday, downing the Flames, 7-2, at the Homewood-Flossmoor Racquet and Fitness Center.

The contest used the nine-point scoring system, in which every match is worth one point and the first team to five points wins.

The Flames (3-7) managed just two wins against UNI, with Karl Morgan having his hand in both of them. He tabbed a 4-6, 6-2, 1-0 comeback win at the No. 2 singles slot, then teamed with Nick Bodmer for a 9-7 win at the No. 1 doubles position.
