2007-2008: Went 13-16 in singles play in his first season with UIC...amassed a 5-3 league record, including a critical 7-5, 6-4 fifth position win over Butler's Sam Brown to aide the Flames to victory over the Bulldogs...teamed up with Sean Kreymborg at No. 3 doubles, earning a a 5-4 league record ...found success over Graceland and Bradley at the fifth singles slot...teamed up with Sean Kreymborg at the third singles position to take down Buffalo's Octavian Stane and Alexis Lluis 8-3...defeated Wayne State's Kevin Turnbull 6-1, 6-3 for his first victory as a Flame on Feb. 2...teamed up with Sebastian Lystad at the second doubles slot for a close 8-6 loss to No. 66 Northwestern's pair of Alexander Thams and Peter Rispoli.
Prior to UIC: Played two seasons for DePaul University (2005-2006, 2006-2007)...turned in a team best 12 wins in doubles as a freshman, including a 10-3 record in the No. 3 position...won nine singles matches in the 2005-06 season, primarily as the team's No. 5...as a sophomore, started dual match play with a six-game win streak in doubles...ended the season with a 14-9 doubles record...went 10-4 in singles for the season.
Prep/Personal: Four-year letterwinner at Minneapolis South...Top singles player during his high school career...finished third in the state tournament during his junior and senior seasons...won over 70 singles matches with only eight losses...ranked number one in the Northern Section and reached as high as 80th in the nation...competed at numerous national events, including the USTA Jr. Davis Cup, USTA National Opens, Spring and Fall National Championships...son of Connie Wilson...majoring in statistics.
