    2004-05: Posted a 3-1 singles record during his first season at UIC...made Division I debut on Feb. 5, winning a 6-1, 6-1 match against Mike Frolou of Wayne State...won his final two singles decisions...defeated Joseph Vann of Texas-Tyler on Mar. 21 by a 6-3, 6-0 count...picked up a 6-1, 6-1 win over Greg Fallowfield of IUPUI...his sole defeat came in a three-set thriller, losing a close 6-4, 6-7(6), 10-8 match to Bojan Illievski of Southern Illinois...played No. 6 singles in two matches at the Horizon League Tournament, with both matches stopped after the team decisions were determined.

    Prior to UIC: Played for Lewis & Clark Community College in Godfrey, Illinois...posted a 20-6 singles mark and a 14-7 doubles record...was ranked 11th nationally by the NJCAA.

    Prep/Personal: Earned five letters as a tennis player for Christian Brothers College in Melbourne, Australia...ranked in the top eight of the Australian prep rankings...reached the tennis quarterfinals of the Victorian Schoolboys Championships...played Australian Rules Football and lettered in swimming at C.B.C....born March 6, 1982....son of Bernard and Fernanda Kasjan...majoring in theatre.
