2008 ALL HORIZON-LEAGUE SECOND TEAM
2007-2008: Went 21-10 in singles play, the most ever singles wins for a Flame in a season ...went undefeated in Horizon League play at both the second and third positions...closed out the season with a 10 match winning streak...named to the All-Horizon League Second team for a strong sophomore campaign...topped Butler's Chris Herron at the third singles position and paired up with Adirano Liccardo against Eric Breitenbach and Herron for a victory at No. 1 doubles to clinch UIC's team victory over the Bulldogs on Apr. 18...defeated Green Bay's No. 2 singles player 6-2, 6-2 and came out victorious in No. 1 singles, winning 8-4 to open Horizon League play...moved up to the second singles slot for wins against Wayne State and Xavier...teamed up with Sebastian Lystad for a thrilling first position doubles match against No. 46 SMU, where the Flames fell in the tiebreaker, 8-7...clinched the victory for the Flames when he defeated Xavier's Chris Herrlinger 5-7, 6-4, 7-6 on Feb. 9...defeated Illinois State's Oscar Beich at the third singles position 4-6, 7-5, 10-8 for his first win of the season...played a strong fall slate, going 6-3 in three tournaments...advanced to the A singles final at both the Bradley and the Valparaiso Fall Classic.
2006-2007: A solid contributor to the Flames in his freshman campaign...played in the No. 3 singles spot the majority of the season, earning a 10-8 record...had out of conference victories against Wayne State, Indiana/Purdue-Fort Wayne and Robert Morris...went 4-1 in Horizon League play...played in the No. 2 position at conference championship, earning victory against Cleveland State's Brad Groleski and Youngstown State's Tom Barth...spent the season in the No. 2 doubles position, paired with Adriano Liccardo and Eric Fey.
Prep/Personal: Currently ranked No. 7 in Norway...won U-18 Norwegian outdoor singles title...teamed with Christian Bergh to capture the ITF U-18 doubles title...also won the U-16 Norwegian outdoor single championship...won the U-14 Norwegian indoor and outdoor singles crowns as well as the doubles and mixed doubles titles...ranked in the Top 40 of the U-16 European listing...participated in the U-14, U-16 and U-18 European Championships...also saw action in the U-13 and U-15 Nordic Team Championships and in the European region team championships...born January 16, 1987...son of Bjorn Harbo and Iris Winde...undecided on a major.
