2002-2003 Highlights: Had a strong junior year compiling 10 wins in singles, one of only two Flames to achieve that goal this season...was able to rebound from a first set loss to help the Flames defeat Chicago State 4-3...compiled a 7-8 doubles record...offered the flames a lone bright spot getting the only win of the St. Joseph's match, 8-4, with partner Pat Zufan.

2001-2002 Highlights: Finished his sophomore campaign with a record of 7-19 in singles action...picked up three victories in Horizon League play over UW-Green Bay's Tom Heidenberger (9-8 (1)), Cleveland State's Adam Mercurio (6-2, 6-2) and Youngstown State's Brandon Williams (4-6, 6-0, 10-8)...blanked IPFW's Shaun Fisher and UT-Dallas' Rob New, 6-0, 6-0...teamed with Wade Clark at No. 2 doubles and finished with a record of 7-13.

2000-2001 Highlights: Earned a 9-7 win over Western Illinois' Mark Schaefer in the first collegiate match of his career...was 2-1 in Midwestern Collegiate Conference action with victories over Cleveland State's John Ostroske (6-0, 6-0) and JC Ventura (6-1, 6-0)...teamed up with junior Wade Clark and compiled a record of 5-5, primarily at No. 2 doubles.

Prep/Personal: Was a four-year starter at Downers Grove South...helped DGS to a 21st place finish at the Illinois State meet...four-time All-West Suburban Gold Conference selection (two-time No. 1 singles champion in 1997 and 1998; No. 1 doubles champion in 1999; and No. 2 singles in 1996) and state qualifier in singles competition...was a part of All-Conference doubles team that qualified for the main-draw quarterfinals of the state tournament...born April 18, 1983...son of Dilip and Shilpee Desai...will major in psychology.
