UIC extended its win streak to three when the Flames downed Bradley on Sunday, 4-3, at the Clubs at River City-North. Prior to their win against Bradley, the Flames had victories over Western Illinois and Chicago.
The Horizon League announced on Wednesday that 10 UIC student-athletes garnered Academic All-League recognition for the 2014 spring semester. Softball led the way with three honorees, while baseball and women's tennis earned two apiece. Men's and women's track and field and men's tennis grabbed one laurel each.

The UIC men's tennis team (5-10, 2-4 HL) closes out regular season competition with a win this afternoon over Youngstown State. The Flames defeated the Penguins 4-3 at the Flames Outdoor Tennis Courts. Prior to the matches, UIC recognized seniors Alexander Raa and Alan Reifer.
The UIC men's tennis team (4-10, 1-4 HL) dropped their conference match tonight to Cleveland State, 6-1. Competition took place at Match Point Tennis in Griffith, Ind.
