Chicago, Ill. - Sonia Peterson was named the Horizon League women's diver of the week for the period ending November 17, the league office announced on Tuesday.

Peterson achieved NCAA zone-qualifying marks with personal-best performances in both the one-meter (267.22) and three-meter (280.05) heights against Northwestern and University of Chicago this past weekend in Evanston.

This is the second weekly league honor the Morton Grove, Ill. native.

The Flames are back in action at the UIC Natatorium this Saturday against Saint Louis at 2 p.m.
