CHICAGO – UIC senior Mike Greco was named Horizon League Diver of the Week for Oct. 22-28, the League office announced on Tuesday.  This marks the fourth-career honor for Greco.

The Naperville, Ill. native claimed first place in the one-meter and three-meter dives on Oct. 27, aiding in the Flames 165-67 win over Eastern Illinois.  Greco produced an NCAA qualifying standard in the 1 mtr with 315.83, while scoring a 310.28 in the 3 mtr.

Greco previously received the accolade as a freshman, sophomore and junior, with the most recent coming during the 2011-12 season for the week of Jan. 9-15 after placing first in the one-meter (293.55) and three-meter (323.40) dives.

The Flames return to competition on Friday, when they take on Western Kentucky and Northwestern in Evanston, Ill. at 4 p.m. (CT), and then head to Milwaukee to face the Panthers on Saturday at 1 p.m. (CT).
