QUICK RECAP: Kei Ishimaru earned first place in the 200 butterfly at the Horizon League Championships with a time of 1:47.95. Elsewhere, the 200 Free Relay took home third place with a time of 2:59.19.

LARGER PICTURE:
- Ishimaru swam his season-best 100 fly (49.69) and 200 fly (1:49.26) at the TYR Invite. 
- Ishimaru won first place in both the 100 fly (51.40) and 200 fly (1:54.86) against Wright State.
- He commanded in the meet against Milwaukee, taking home first place in three individual events (1:52.31 in the 200 butterfly, 50.58 in the 100 fly, and 1:54.24 in the 200 IM).
- Ishimaru also had three first-place finishes against Green Bay, taking the 100 fly (50.87), 200 fly (1:53.84), and 200 IM (1:54.22).
- He once again came away with three wins on the day against Cleveland State, dominating in the 100 butterfly (50.30), 200 fly (1:50.89) and 200 IM (1:55.51).
- Ishimaru was named Horizon League Swimmer of the week twice, once on November 6 and again on January 7.
