CHICAGO - UIC head coach Paul Moniak announced that the swimming & diving program has added 11 student-athletes to the Flames roster for the upcoming school year.

Sebastian Ostrowski (Darien, Ill./Hinsdale South HS)
Jay Schackle (Lockport, Ill./Lockport Township HS)
Kirsten Hutchinson (South Elgin, Ill./St. Charles North HS)
Ksenia Kopylova (Skokie, Ill./Niles North HS)
Andrea Longlade (Ontario, Canada/St. Thomas of Villanova HS)
Kelsey Millen (Monona, Wis./Monona Grove HS)
Sara Pardue (Lombard, IL - Willowbrook HS)
Gisun Pak (Naperville, Ill./Rosary HS)
Marissa Yontz (Canton, Ill./Canton HS)
The four new additions for the men's squad feature a middle distance specialist in Cury, Schackle focuses on the fly and IM events and the duo of Sivak and Ostrowski join the program as backstroke specialists.
On the women's side, Hutchinson, Kopylova and Yontz enter as sprint specialists, Longlade, Millen and Pak competed in multiple events, and Pardue specialized in distance events as a prep prior to her commitment to UIC.
The 11 newcomers join backstroke specialist Anne Jacobsen (Barrington, Ill./Barrington HS), diver Whitney Johnson (Rockton, Ill./Hononegah Community HS) and diver Connor Howard (Homer Glen, Ill./Lockport Township HS) who previously commited with the Flames in the fall.
The newcomers will join a core of returnees led by senior captains Clair Martin, Lillian Cabel, Zach Van Swol and Daniel Corely when the Flames return to action in the fall.
