    Senior diver Charlie Rock was named the MCC Men's Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week following his impressive performances this past weekend.

    Rock qualified for both the 1 and 3-meter diving competitions at the Zone C Diving Championships in Bloomington, Indiana in the Flames 142-93 win over Valparaiso on Friday night. He recorded a career-high score of 318.70 in the 3-meter competition to meet the 310-point standard to qualify. He also qualified in the 1-meter competition by .35 of a point with a 290.35 performance to earn second-place behind teammate Mike Magee.

    Rock also swept the diving competitions the following day against UWGB with victories in the 1-meter (240.55) and 3-meter (251.95).
