    Final Stats

    CHICAGO, Ill. - UIC swimming and diving placed fourth and fifth at the 2009 Phoenix Fall Classic this past weekend.

    The women finished the weekend in fourth place with 414.5, while the men placed fifth with 325.5 at the Phoenix Classic.

    Sarah Harper had a solid performance for the Flames on the weekend.

    Harper placed second in the 200 IM (2:14.01), third in the 200 breast (2:30.62) and 100 breast (1:10.12).

    For the men, Andy Peterson finished in fourth in the 200 back (1:57.00) and fifth in the 100 back (54.01).

    Other notable finishes were Sarah Walsh in the 100 breast (first place, 1:09.48), Sarma Zemjanis in the 50 free (fourth place, 25.19) and 100 free (fourth place, 55.05), and Alex Webster in the 1650 free (fifth place, 16:43.73).

    UIC swimming and diving will be back in action when they host Western Illinois on Dec. 19, in the UIC Natatorium at 2 p.m.
