2002-03: Set team season-bests in the 50 free, the 100 free and the 200 free...turned in a 21.06 in the 50-yard freestyle at the league finals, placing seventh...took second place in the league 200 free finals with a 1:40.46...200-yard freestyle league time was half a second short of breaking the school's 20-year old 200 free record...placed fourth in the 100 free with a 45.82...part of a then-school record 200-yard medley relay of 1:33.53...also set new 400 free and 400 medley records...opened his collegiate career in style with a first-place 200 free time of 1:47.49 against Eastern Illinois...was named the team's Newcomer of the Year.
