AS A JUNIOR (2010-2011): Led the Flames in the 200 backstroke for the season with 1:50.29 (2/26) ... came in second for the season in the 200 IM with 1:50.59 (2/24) ... took first in the 200 free with 1:46.89 at Western Illinois (12/19) ... placed second in the 200 IM with 1:53.66 against Cleveland State (2/05) ... broke his own best record in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:50.29 in the Horizon League Championships (2/26). AS A SOPHOMORE (2009-2010): Opened up the season with a first place finish in the 200 back against Wright State (1:55.74) ... won the 1000 free at home against North Dakota (9:54.64) ... third place finish in the 200 free at home (1:44.88) ... took first in the 200 fly against Western Illinois (1:57.24) ... finished in first place in the 1650 free against Valparaiso (16:08.98) ... set the school record in the 200 back at Cleveland State (1:52.23) ... runner-up in the 400 IM (3:55.82) and 200 back (1:50.58), as well as a third place finish in the 200 IM (1:50.98) at the 2010 Horizon League Championships. AS A FRESHMAN (2008-2009): Won the 200 fly (1:56.44) and placed second in the 1000 free (9:54.36) in his collegiate debut at Wright State ... finished second in 200 IM and in the 400 IM, third in the 1650 free, and fourth in 800 free at 2009 Horizon League Conference Championship PREP AND PERSONAL: Four-time letterwinner in swimming at Marmion (Ill.) ...
