1999-2000 Highlights: Consistent relay performer for the Flames...member of MCC fourth-place 200-yard Medley Relay that posted a season-best 1:35.51...placed fifth overall in the MCC 100-yard breaststroke finals with a time of (58.58)...his MCC finals time ranked as the MCC sixth best performance of the year...his 200-yard breaststroke performance in the MCC finals (2:10.6) ranked as the 10th best conference performance of the season.

1998-99 Highlights: Notched 50y freestyle career-best (22.25) at the Bill Ritter Invitational...garnered two first-place finishes in the 100-yard breaststroke against Bowling Green (1:00.66) and Wisconsin-Green Bay (1:00.12)...set a then-career-best time in the MCC preliminary 100-yard breaststroke (57.59)...finished third in the MCC 100-yard backstroke finals (57.90)...set a career-best in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:09.22) at the MCC Championships.

1997-98 Highlights: One of the Flames top newcomers...qualified for the Junior National Championships in the 100-yard breaststroke with a ...saved his best performance for last as he posted a then-career-best time of 2:10.32 in the 200-yard breaststroke at the MCC Championships...finished sixth in the 100-yard breaststroke (58.61) and tenth in the 200 breaststroke (2:10.32) at the MCC meet...swam to a third-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:02.91) at the Butler double-dual meet...placed second in the 200-yard breaststroke against Northern Illinois (2:20.25).

Prep/Personal: Lettered four years in water polo and three years in swimming at Lyons Township High School...placed 14th in the 100-yard breaststroke and 11th in the 200-yard freestyle relay at the Illinois state championships...two-time state qualifier in swimming...two-time water polo captain also served as the swimming captain...helped Lyons Township to a fourth-place finish in the state water polo tournament...Illinois State Scholar...honor roll student...two-time recipient of the IHSA All-Conference Academic Award...member of the UIC Choir...born on March 28.1979...son of James and Judith King...majoring in bioengineering with a minor in physics.
