    Swimming & Diving Begins Regular Season At Wright State

    The Flames take on the Raiders on Saturday at 10 a.m. (CT).

    AS A JUNIOR (2012-13): Finished third in the 200 fly (1:59.72) and fourth in the 200 IM (2:02.02) at Wright State (10/13) ... placed fifth, sixth and seventh, respectively, in the 400 IM (4:23.75), 100 fly (55.17) and 100 back (59.86) against Eastern Illinois (10/27) ... came in fourth in the 200 fly (1:58.32) at Milwaukee (11/03) ... captured third in the 100 fly (55.50) and fifth in the 200 free (1:52.04) versus IIT (11/10) ... competed in the prelims and finals of the 200 IM, 400 IM and 200 fly at the TYR Invitational (11/16-18) ... at Western Illinois (12/15), took fourth in the 100 fly (56.83) and sixth in the 100 back (58.99) ... produced fourth-place finishes in the 200 IM (2:06.78) and 100 free (53.78) at Valparaiso (01/26) ... swam the prelims and finals of the 200 IM, 400 IM and 200 fly at the Horizon League Championships (02/27-03/02)

    AS A SOPHOMORE (2011-12):     Placed ninth in the 100 fly versus Northwestern and North Dakota (11/12) with 54.31 ... qualified and competed in the 200 fly at the Phoenix Fall Classic (11/18-20) ... came in third in the 200 fly with 2:00.74 and fifth in the 200 back with 2:06.77 against Western Illinois and Saint Louis (12/17) ... was the runner up in the 200 fly with 1:59.95 at Green Bay (01/14) ... took third in the 400 IM with 4:19.36 and 100 fly with 54.17 against Valparaiso (01/20) ... set bests on the season in the 200 IM (1:52.81), 400 IM (4:07.22) and 200 fly (1:51.53) at the Horizon League Championships (02/22-25) ... had four top-3 performances throughout the season

    PREP AND PERSONAL: Four-time letterwinner in swimming at Edwardsville (Ill.) ... three-time Sectional Champion ... named team captain and MVP during his junior and senior campaign ... all-region and all-county honoree in his junior year ... son of Jeff and Tracy Jacobson ... has one brother, Jason ... currently enrolled as an accounting major.
