Career Notes: Returned from off-season shoulder surgery to set a school record in the 200-yard IM (1:51.39) for a second-place finish in the event at the 2003 Horizon League Championships...led UIC with season-best times in the 100-yard breaststroke (58.07) and the 200-yard breaststroke (2;)6.03) in 2003...integral part of relay teams that set school records in the 200-yard medley relay (1:33.53), 400-yard medley relay (3:24.99) and 400-yard freestyle relay (3:03.52) during the 2002-03 season. 2000-2001 Highlights: Turned in three top-ten finishes at the Midwestern Collegiate Conference championships in the 200-yard individual medley (4th, 1:54.64), 400-yard individual medley (5th, 4:06.60) and 1650-yard freestyle (9th, 17:06.14)...placed fifth in the 200-yard freestyle (1:45.96) at the 2001 Illinois Swimming Championships...selected as the MCC Swimming and Diving athlete of the week following his performance during UIC's 142-80 victory over Butler as he recorded victories in the 200-yard butterfly (2:00.52), 500-yard freestyle (4:53) and 1000-yard freestyle (10:13)...recorded a season-best time of 10:05.24 in the 1000-yard freestyle against Bowling Green on February 2nd...pushed UIC to a 142-93 triumph over Valparaiso with victories in the 500-yard freestyle (4:52.78), 1000-yard freestyle (10:10.79) and 200-yard individual medley (2:00.16)...clocked in the MCC's seventh-fastest time in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:05.24) against Bowling Green.
