    Chicago, Ill. - UIC senior Cesar Zambrano added another highlight to his already impressive resume this season as he was named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week on Monday morning.

    Zambrano helped the Flames to the Horizon League Tournament title and a return trip to the NCAA Tournament over the weekend, earning league tournament MVP honors.

    The All-Horizon League First Team recipient assisted on Kevin Stoll's golden goal in UIC's 1-0 semifinal win over Milwaukee and then collected an assist on Pat McMahon's decisive marker in the championship match versus Green Bay.

    For the tournament, Zambrano finished with a goal and three assists in three matches.

    Zambrano and his teammates will learn their NCAA Tournament opponent and destination on Monday afternoon when the pairings are announced at 4:30 p.m.
