Chicago, Ill.- Following the conclusion of the 2008 Horizon League Men's Soccer Championship presented by the U.S. Army at Flames Field on Nov. 16, UIC senior back Pat McMahon (Bolingbrook, Ill./Benet Academy) was named to the 2008 Horizon League Men's Soccer Championship All-Tournament Team.

McMahon started his school-record 82nd consecutive match for the Flames in the semifinals against Loyola on Nov. 14, standing out in what proved to be a stellar defensive battle by both sides.

The 2008 Horizon League regular season champion Flames, who were ranked in the Top 10 of all four major national polls last week, will learn if they receive an at-large berth into the 2008 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship on Monday, Nov. 17 during the NCAA Selection Show on ESPNews between 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Central.
