    CHICAGO- Junior Kevin Stoll (Florissant, Mo./Chaminade Prep) and freshmen Ivan Stanisavljevic (Belgrade, Serbia/Sportska Gimnazija) and Josh Beard (Schaumburg, Ill./Schaumburg H.S.) of the UIC men's soccer team were honored with 2009 postseason awards from the Horizon League, the league office announced on Tuesday, Nov. 10.

    Stoll and Stanisavljevic were named to the All-Horizon League Second Team, while Stanisavljevic and Beard were picked for the Horizon League's All-Newcomer Team.

    Stanisavljevic scored a team-leading seven goals for 14 points in 16 matches during the regular season, ranking third in the league in goals and seventh in points.

    Stoll tallied five goals and added an assist for 11 points in 18 matches. He ranked second on the team and ninth in the league in goals scored.

    Beard played in 17 contests, scoring a goal and adding an assist, while providing stout play as the Flames' starting left back for most of the season.

    The Flames play Cleveland State tonight at 6 p.m. Central in the quarterfinals of the 2009 Horizon League Championship in Cleveland, Ohio.
