Chicago, Ill.- UIC sophomore back Robert Younger (North Lincolnshire, England/The Read School) was named the ChicagolandSoccerNews.com Player of the Month for September 2008, the website announced on Monday, Oct. 13.

Younger has played a key role in the Flames' success. The leader of the UIC backline has guided the team to a school-record 12-game unbeaten start, a school-best ranking of No. 4 in the country and an impressive 0.65 team goals-against average with seven shutouts in just 13 matches.
