Great America Scores Soccer Dribble Set for Saturday
Sept. 24, 2012
CHICAGO- On Saturday, September 29, the Great America Scores "Soccer Dribble" will take place at Flames Field. The event is a fundraiser hosted by America SCORES Chicago to beat the Guinness World Record for the most soccer balls ever dribbled by a group at one time. As a national team effort to break a Guinness World Record, 11 America Scores cities are on a mission to dribble 2,500 soccer balls simultaneously across the United States.
The event will take place just before the UIC Flames take on last season's regular season Horizon League Champions, the Valparaiso Crusaders.
In order to take part in the event, participants must register online at soccerdribble.kintera.org/Chicago. The cost is $25 per person, or $50 for family/friends package. The registration fee includes a free t-shirt and soccer ball for the first 150 registrants, plus a ticket to the UIC vs. Valpo match at 7p.m. Use the code "ILOVESCORES" to receive 50% off the registration fee.
