Chicago, Ill. - University of Illinois at Chicago senior Dennis King's strong play last weekend at the Oregon State/Diadora Classic has earned him a spot on the College Soccer News National Team of the Week.

College Soccer News selects the 11 best players from all of Division I soccer each week to comprise the squad.

King tallied the Flames' game-winning goal on a penalty kick in Sunday's 4-3 overtime victory over Gonzaga, which saw UIC rally back from a 3-0 deficit.

It was King's team-best fourth goal on the year, three of which have proven to be game-winners.

The Flames are now 5-0 on the season, marking the best start to a campaign in program history.

UIC will be back in action on Wednesday afternoon when they take on Horizon League and city-rival Loyola at Flames Field at 4:00 p.m.
