Chicago, Ill. - After another perfect weekend, the UIC men's soccer team jumped up to fourth in latest NSCAA Midwest Region Poll.

The Flames, who are a perfect 5-0 on the year and enjoying the best start in program history, posted a pair of overtime victories last week, downing St. Mary's (CA), 2-1, before rallying to take out Gonzaga, 4-3.

UIC was ranked sixth in last week's poll.

Saint Louis University tops the most recent Midwest rankings, followed by SMU and Tulsa. Creighton is in the fifth spot while Drake, Bradley, Memphis, Southwest Missouri State and Evansville round out the top-10.

The Flames open Horizon League play on Wednesday afternoon when they welcome city-rival Loyola to Flames Field at 4:00 p.m.
