Sept. 8, 2003
Chicago, Ill. - Still basking in the glow of its title at the Memphis/Diadora Tournament, the undefeated UIC men's soccer team learned on Monday that it placed three players on the all-tournament team, including senior Dennis King, who was honored with the Sportsmanship Award.
King, who tallied a goal in each of the Flames' two games, including the game-winner in the waning moments versus UNC-Wilmington, was joined by sophomore keeper Ross Cain and senior defenseman Chris Berena.
UIC will be back in action on Friday, Sept. 12th, as they vie for the second straight tournament title as they compete in the Oregon State/Diadora Classic.
